Seiko Tank Palladium Ref. 1400-6860

The Seiko Tank is a minimalist 1980s ladies' dress watch featuring a rectangular "Tank" case constructed from PDP (Palladium Plated) base metal. Palladium—a bright, precious platinum-group metal—was used by Seiko on select mid-to-high tier references for a durable, tarnish-resistant silver luster. Produced by Seiko's Daini in September 1980, this watch highlights a subtle textured silver "frost" or "linen" dial framed by a step-bezel profile. It is powered by the compact 2-jewel Seiko Caliber 1400 quartz movement and fitted on a black crocodile-embossed leather strap.
