The Bulova "23" Automatic is an American-made mid-century dress watch produced in the mid-1950s. Introduced in 1954, the "Bulova 23" series represented a pinnacle of American horology, featuring high-grade 23-jewel automatic movements manufactured in the USA.  This all-stainless steel model features a domed cream dial with applied faceted dagger indices, sweeping alpha/dauphine hands, and script "23 Jewels" lettering. It is housed in a water-resistant case with a notched screw-down retaining ring, showcasing Bulova's mid-1950s construction.
